Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties PlayStation 5 is an action-adventure bundle that includes a full remake of Yakuza 3 and a separate story called Dark Ties. It follows Kazuma Kiryu and Yoshitaka Mine across connected but different narratives in the Yakuza universe. Additionally, it combines crime drama, exploration, and beat ’em up combat. Therefore, it delivers two linked stories in one package with modern gameplay updates.
The Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties PlayStation 5 version rebuilds Yakuza 3 using the Dragon Engine. Moreover, it improves combat, adds new cutscenes, and expands side activities across Okinawa and Tokyo. Dark Ties focuses on Mine’s backstory and uses a boxing-based combat style with a darker tone. In addition, both games include DualSense features like vibration and trigger effects.
