Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is an action RPG for PlayStation 5. You play as Phyre, an elder vampire exploring modern-day Seattle. The story combines vampire politics, supernatural combat, and a neo-noir mystery.
Phyre awakens after a century-long slumber and enters a city facing a supernatural conflict. Meanwhile, the vampire court struggles with a growing power vacuum. Your choices can affect the balance of power and the city’s future.
The game lets you choose from six vampire clans. These include Brujah, Tremere, Banu Haqim, Ventrue, Toreador, and Lasombra. Each clan supports different combat styles and supernatural abilities.
Blood fuels your vampire Disciplines and powers. You can use supernatural strength, blood sorcery, or stealth during combat. Moreover, you can feed on mortals to satisfy your Hunger and strengthen your abilities.
However, you must protect the Masquerade by keeping your vampire nature hidden. Breaking it can bring unwanted attention and serious consequences. Therefore, your actions can affect how you approach different situations.
The story also features Fabien, a Malkavian detective, through a second perspective. Together, the two viewpoints reveal different parts of Seattle’s supernatural world.
The game supports one player on PS5 and includes offline play. It also supports DualSense controller vibration and Remote Play. Furthermore, the PS5 version offers multiple accessibility options.
