Sony PXW-Z190 4K XDCAM Camcorder

The Sony PXW-Z190 is a professional 4K XDCAM camcorder for broadcast and video production. It uses three 1/3-inch Exmor R CMOS sensors and supports 4K recording.

The camcorder records QFHD 4K at up to 60p. It also supports Full HD recording. Furthermore, it provides 10-bit 4:2:2 recording in compatible XAVC modes.

The lens provides a 25x optical zoom with a 28.8-720mm equivalent focal range. In addition, Clear Image Zoom extends the range to 50x in 4K mode and 75x in HD mode.

The camcorder uses a three-ring manual lens system. It also includes an electronic variable ND filter. Therefore, users can control exposure without changing the selected shutter speed or aperture.

The PXW-Z190 supports Fast Hybrid AF. It also provides face detection and lock-on autofocus. Moreover, the system supports quick focus adjustments during video recording.

The camcorder includes two SD card slots for recording media. It also provides 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs. In addition, it includes two XLR audio inputs and a multi-interface shoe.

The camera has a 3.5-inch LCD viewfinder with approximately 1.56 million dots. It also provides a 0.5-inch OLED electronic viewfinder with approximately 2.36 million dots.

The PXW-Z190 supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless connectivity. It also supports FTP transfer and proxy recording through compatible workflows. Meanwhile, Sony includes professional timecode and genlock functions.

The camcorder measures approximately 192.0 × 202.0 × 419.7mm. Its body weighs approximately 2.9kg without the battery, lens hood, handle, and other accessories.
