The Sony FE 14mm f/1.8 GM is a full-frame ultra-wide prime lens for Sony E-mount cameras. It provides a 14mm focal length and a bright f/1.8 maximum aperture.
The lens uses 14 elements in 11 groups. Its optical design includes two XA elements, one Super ED element, and two ED elements. In addition, Nano AR Coating II helps control flare and ghosting.
The lens uses two XD Linear Motors for fast and quiet autofocus. Furthermore, the internal focusing design keeps the lens length unchanged during focusing.
The minimum focusing distance is 0.25m. Its maximum magnification reaches 0.10x. Moreover, the lens provides a 114-degree angle of view on full-frame cameras.
