The Sony α7 III is a full-frame mirrorless camera with a 24.2MP back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor. It uses the BIONZ X image processor and Sony E-mount. Moreover, the camera supports interchangeable E-mount lenses.
The camera provides a wide ISO range from 100 to 51,200. It also offers expanded settings from ISO 50 to 204,800 for still images. In addition, the sensor supports 14-bit RAW image recording.

The α7 III includes two memory card slots. One slot supports UHS-II cards, while the second supports UHS-I cards. In addition, the camera provides Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, USB, HDMI, microphone, and headphone connections.
The camera uses the NP-FZ100 rechargeable battery. Its body measures approximately 126.9 × 95.6 × 73.7mm. Meanwhile, it weighs approximately 650g with the battery and memory card.
