The Sony a6700 is an APS-C mirrorless camera with a 26MP back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor. It uses the BIONZ XR image processor and Sony E-mount. Moreover, the camera includes a dedicated AI processing unit for subject recognition.

The camera uses the NP-FZ100 rechargeable battery. It measures approximately 122 × 69 × 75.1mm and weighs approximately 493g with the battery and memory card.
