Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is an action game for PlayStation 5. It follows the Power Rangers as they face Robo Rita and her plan to change history.
Robo Rita joins forces with her younger self, Rita Repulsa. Together, they attempt to stop the Power Rangers from forming. Therefore, the game presents an original alternate-timeline story based on the classic TV series.
The game uses hand-drawn pixel art with a classic 1990s look. It also features enemies from different seasons of the Power Rangers series. Moreover, familiar events from the show are remixed for the new story.
Gameplay combines 2D brawler action with arcade-style shooting and driving sections. Players can also pilot the original Dinozords during selected stages. In addition, the legendary Megazord appears in large boss battles.
The PS5 version supports up to four players. Online play supports up to two players and requires PlayStation Plus. Furthermore, the game supports DualSense controller vibration and Remote Play.
