Hell is Us is a third-person action-adventure game for PlayStation 5. It combines intense melee combat with exploration in a semi-open world.
You play as Rémi, a United Nations peacekeeper searching for his missing parents. He travels to an isolated country affected by civil war and a mysterious calamity.
The calamity has created supernatural creatures that cannot be defeated with modern weapons. Therefore, Rémi uses swords, spears, and axes to fight these dangerous chimeras.
The game uses a unique exploration system without a map, compass, or quest markers. Instead, you must observe your surroundings and follow your own instincts. This makes exploration a key part of the experience.
Rémi also has a drone that helps during exploration and combat. You must learn enemy patterns and use your weapons carefully to survive encounters.
