The Canon XA60B is a professional UHD 4K camcorder with a 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor. It uses Canon’s DIGIC DV 6 image processor for video recording.
The camcorder uses a 15x optical zoom lens with an equivalent focal range of 29.3-443mm. In addition, the lens provides a maximum aperture of f/1.8-2.8.
The lens includes optical image stabilization. Therefore, it helps reduce camera movement during handheld recording. Furthermore, the camcorder provides three stabilization modes for different shooting conditions.
The XA60B records UHD 4K video at up to 30p. It also supports Full HD recording at up to 60p. In addition, the camera uses MP4 recording for compatible video workflows.

The XA60B includes two SD card slots. It also provides HDMI output, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm microphone terminal. In addition, the camcorder includes a headphone terminal.
The camera supports infrared recording for compatible shooting. It also includes a built-in handle with an audio input section. Furthermore, the handle provides two XLR audio inputs for compatible microphones.
The camcorder measures approximately 109 × 91 × 214mm without the handle. Meanwhile, its weight is approximately 740g without the lens hood, battery, or handle.
