The Canon RF 50mm f/1.4 L VCM is a full-frame prime lens for Canon EOS R-series cameras. It provides a 50mm focal length and a bright f/1.4 maximum aperture.
The lens uses 14 elements in 11 groups. It includes one UD lens and two aspherical lenses. Also, Canon applies ASC, SSC, and fluorine coatings.
The lens uses Canon Nano USM and VCM focusing systems. Therefore, it supports fast autofocus and full-time manual focusing. The minimum focusing distance is 0.4m.
The maximum magnification reaches 0.15x. In addition, the lens provides a 46-degree diagonal angle of view. Its aperture ranges from f/1.4 to f/16.
