Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve 17 Studio with Speed Editor (Dongle)

This DaVinci Resolve 17 Studio with Speed Editor bundle from B&H provides you with a combination of a high-end editing and compositing system supporting up to 8K resolution, with a compact and portable editing panel that is custom designed to make your editing experience with DaVinci Resolve even faster and smoother. The included version of Resolve Studio uses a dongle that must be attached to your computer’s USB port to use the software. This does allow you to install the software on multiple machines, though the dongle only allows you to operate the software on the machine it is attached to.

Resolve Studio supports 10-bit video and features a variety of modes that help simplify and organize your editing work. With media management, two different edit modes, an audio-specific mode, a compositing mode, a color correction mode, and an output mode, this all-in-one software avoids the need for round-tripping your edit to other programs to complete your project. The Speed Editor features an internal battery that allows you to connect to your computer wirelessly, or you can connect via a USB cable. It is designed to interface with the “Cut” edit mode in Resolve Studio, utilizing familiar tools such as the jog wheel and short jut buttons to liberate you from needing the keyboard and mouse to edit your footage, making for a fast, yet precise edit session.
